Welcome to the 2017-18 Season of Women Leaders Forum!

As our members know, the network of female support and empowerment is an important part of women’s lives, both professionally and personally. We are so grateful to have found the community offered by the Women Leaders Forum (WLF). We became fast friends after attending numerous networking events provided through local organizations such as WLF. Before long, we were both serving on the Board for WLF.  This season, we are excited to serve as Co-Presidents for the upcoming year. Our story is one that illustrates the true benefits of local community involvement, networking, and volunteerism: friendship and leadership opportunities.

It is a grave understatement to say that WLF has an exciting year planned for our members and Young Women Leaders. Our Board is actively seeking and planning opportunities to further our mission of empowering the women leaders of our community. Events for this upcoming year will include fun opportunities for our current and new members to meet other like-minded professionals and grow their network. Whether you are a new member interested in learning more about our organization or a current member, we invite you to attend our kick off mixer this fall. The new Board members are eager to meet you at our upcoming events so that we can get to know you better!

Women Leaders Forum is a dynamic organization that has awarded over $350,000 in scholarships to young women engaged in our Young Women Leaders Mentoring Program (YWL). The YWL Program is comprised of local high school students eager to receive support and guidance from our WLF membership. The YWL Program not only provides scholarships and mentorship opportunities for our Young Women Leaders, but it greatly benefits our members by allowing them to give back to their community. The YWL Program offers varying opportunities for our WLF members to volunteer from attending community service events to mentoring a young woman leader. We encourage all interested members to apply to become a mentor this year, which is an enriching experience for both our members and our young women leaders.

WLF is proud to continue our successful Young Women Leaders Mentoring and Scholarship Matching Program with OneFuture, a division of Pathways to Success, along with wonderful community partners.

We look forward to meeting all of you at our next event and working together to make this our best year yet!
